What is Blue Shark?
The primary component of shark cartilage consists of protein (containing collagen), chondroitin sulfate (mucopolysaccharide) and calcium.
The protein level in the cartilage of blue shark is more than 50%. Meanwhile, that of other sharks is 40%.
■Quick-grinding frozen shark cartilage
rotein contained in shark cartilage is easily denatured by heat.
Therefore, the cartilage is first frozen, then grinded into fine powder with the size of 15µm on average to provide a high level of absorption.
