How to prepare and drink TAHEEBO NFD
①Pour 1L of water into a glass or ceramic pot. Add one tea bag to the water.
②Set the pot on the top of the stove. Once boiled, reduce the heat and steep for 30min.
Ready to drink!

TAHEEBO NFD ※If water should is boiling too much, the tea bag may float and the components cannot be extracted properly. Steep gently keeping the tea bag sunk to the bottom of the pot.
※Glass, ceramic or enameled pots are recommended to use. Do not use cast iron or aluminum pots.

■About resteeping tea bag
When resteeping the tea bag, add 2 used tea bags to1L of water and steep for 30 min.

The raw tree of "TAHEEBO NFD" is called Tabebuia Avellanedae. It is a valuable species of natural trees.
TAHEEBO NFD is a bark tea made only from the inner barks of Tabebuia Avellanedae which belongs to the Bignoniaceae family.
It contains a good balance of NFD, vitamins, minerals and various nutritional components.


◆Well-selected raw materials
Tabebuia avellanedae (commonly known as taheebo) belongs to the genus Tabebuia of the family Bignoniaceae. There are more than 100 varieties of Tabebuia avellanedae distributed across the America and 30 varieties in the Amazon River basin.

Trees belonging to the genus Tabebuia have several different names in Brazil depending upon the color of flowers (white, yellow, pink, red, purple, and orange). Among them, the purple-flowering varieties known as ipê-roxo (“purple ipê”) have more than 50 recognized species which vary in components.
Particularly the purplish red-flowering Tabebuia avellanedae is a rare species which is found only deep in the Amazon River basin.

TAHEEBO NFD is prepared from well-selected, over 30 year old Tabebuia avellanedae grown in the specific regions.

NFD is present in 7mm thick strip on the inside of the outer bark.
The trees under 30 years old contain only a small amount of NFD.
TAHEEBO NFD is prepared from high quality, over 30 year old trees which satisfy our prescribed standards on the active ingredient content.
